Immigration

In the mid-1800s, Europeans started to immigrate into America in search for better lifestyles. They were looking for better jobs with higher pay, which most found because America was in the middle of the Industrial revolution, while famime and poor harvest were becoming big issues in many parts of Europe. Religious and political problems were also arising along with many wars in Europe, this all led to much of the english population to migrate to America. Although many came with hopes of getting jobs and money, with it came the dissadvantages of long work hours, low wages, and unsafe working conditions. The migration to America was not the best for either societies, for one Europe was not able to increase their harvest by much because they were loosing all their workers. Factory workers in America were beggining to lose their jobs, because Europeans easily accepted the meager pay and factory owners would replace American workers for the Europeans who worked for less money.
