Women enlisted for the first time. They didn't actually fight in combat though. They took up jobs with all the men gone there were plenty. They started building war supplies. This helped more men to be able to go off and fight. They only bad thing was many thought this would break the home. This made women want to be more independent. Women were good at these jobs they were women that were better then men. All this helped supplies to get out faster.
