The American, British, and Canadian troops all banned together to make a final stand and attacked the French coastlines of Normandy. This as Gen. Eisenhower put it was as they called it D-Day. Many thousands of soldiers gave their lives for the success of conquering and making the German fleets surrender. It was our last chance to overpower them with all out fury.
