Paiute Geography Most Paiute indians were located along the sides of the Virgin River and the Muddy River, some were also located further away in the arid desert region using a spring as their water source. They raised corn, squash, melons, gourds, sunflowers, and, later, winter wheat, they also went out and gathered food like nuts, seeds, They hunted rabbits, deer, and Mountain sheep. external image Paiutes.jpg
















Some Modern Day Reservations are located in Cedar City in southern utah. To drive from Taylorsville all the way down there is about a 4 and a half hour drive depending on how fast you drive or how often you stop.
