during the 1960 the black movement started up after rosa parks did not move seats on a bus when asked and got thrown in jail.
with the help of MLKJ the blacks started to protest they did sit in's and other stuff that had to do with none violent protest. over the years many young blacks did not like how long it was taking to get equal rights.and started to use violence to fight it.
